Spiritual Direction Refresher Course with Lucy Abbott Tucker
A 3 day immersive refresher workshop on spiritual direction.
Thursday 9/26 through Saturday 9/28 from 9:30am - 4:30pm each day
Course is open to spiritual directors and those in SD training programs.
Morning coffee, pastries will be provided. There are restaurants in the area for lunch on your own.

About Lucy
Lucy Abbott Tucker has worked in adult formation and the preparation of people for the ministry of spiritual direction for the past thirty nine years. With an initial background in mathematics and education in 1983 she studied at the Institute for Spiritual Leadership and Catholic Theological Union, Chicago where she obtained a Masters Degree in Theology. She worked for many years at the Institute for Spiritual Leadership in Chicago.
Lucy has been active in the work of Spiritual Directors International, serving on the first Coordinating Council and chairing the committee that prepared the Guidelines for Ethical Conduct endorsed by that organization. She is a frequent presenter at the annual meetings of Spiritual Directors International. In addition, she has been involved in retreats and workshops throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, and Canada.
Lucy has also published several articles on adult formation and the ministry of spiritual direction. She recently completed a book on Supervision for those engaged in the ministry of Spiritual Direction. Lucy is married and lives with her husband Tom in Mount Prospect, Illinois.
